I think we've exceeded the expectations of what we were thought to do. Some predicted us to finish second to last in the conference, but we've shown what we can do, and sometimes we just need the hitting to come around.

I thought going into this year that I would be a role player. I didn't think I would be hitting as well as I am, but I've grown comfortable and it's been working out well. Batting third makes you a big part of the lineup and it's nice to be an important part of the team.
die game lights nobody perspective roll team tough
We go up 9-0 and then the lights go out and we think a 32-0 team is just going to roll over and die. This game put things in perspective ...that nobody is going to roll over and die in this tournament. But if we keep doing what we're doing, we're going to be a tough team to beat.
