hung pulled winning wonderful
That was huge, winning that one. It was wonderful that they hung in and pulled it out.
aggressive brian fought game looked
I thought we got emotionally drained. I looked up at Brian (Beckwith) in Game 3, and he looked really drawn. Usually, he's aggressive out there. We fought through that.
core good returning wonderful
I think we're returning a very good core that had a wonderful season.
concern improve
I think we can improve overall, but we're doing pretty good. Our only concern is ourselves.
block enjoy happy prepare rest weekend
Our block is getting better, but as coaches, we can never be happy or satisfied. We are just going to enjoy the rest of the weekend and prepare for USC.
depends pop saw
It all depends on the MRI. I saw him pop it back in.
jump serves serving
Jump serves are good, but only if you keep them in play. No. 1 is a serving error. There's nothing worse.
found lucky
We were very lucky tonight. We found a way to win.
game missed missing precise seen serves stop ways
We were so in system. They couldn't stop us at all. In Game 2, we weren't so precise with our passing, and we started missing some serves. In Game 3, we really started missing some serves. ... We missed some serves in ways I haven't seen out of our guys.
came needed nice turned
We needed to be balanced. Bender came in and did a nice job. I think he turned the tide.
guy passing reason serving somebody struggling team
Usually the reason somebody makes a serving substitution is because the other guy is struggling or the other team is passing him well. You want some contrasts (in the serves).
attention concerned pay second
We're not too concerned about (the polls) right now. We're second in the league, which is what I pay attention to.
games played start
We didn't start off so good, but then we got on our game, and we played well in Games 2 and 3.
We're rounding into form. We're getting better each day.
