advantage closed deal distinct man
We want it closed because we feel we have a distinct advantage if its closed. But I'm a 30-year-old man and I can deal with it. It's not like they stole my dog.
game owe
We still owe them a ton. One game doesn't really get you even.
adjustment bat definitely expect fifth fourth general good move nice program role third
I definitely feel more comfortable when I know what to expect and I know what the program is. I'm very good with routines. That's not to say I can't make an adjustment if you move me in the lineup, but in general I know I'm going to bat third or fourth or fifth in the lineup, and it's nice to know what your role is.
fishes guy
The guy fishes with dynamite. That should encapsulate the guy.
clubhouse won
You can't tell in this clubhouse if we've won or lost.
award happy scoring team title tribute win
It's neat. I'm happy really about what our team did. This isn't like some individualization award you win like a scoring title in basketball. I think it's a real tribute to the team we had.
adam approach batting coming crushing difficult eight hole jason lane position spring starts swinging training
Adam Everett made some adjustments during spring training and has a much better approach at the plate. character history learn loser seriously squad starting teams together
This seriously is one of the loosest teams in the history of baseball, ... It has to do with the character of the squad and starting 15-30. When you start off in the loser echelons of baseball, you learn how to come together quickly.
ability depends guess obviously struggle
We obviously have the ability to completely struggle like no other. I guess it depends on what day you get us.
incredible job pick pitching runners scoring staff
We need to do a better job with runners in scoring position, but luckily, our pitching staff is incredible and they have been able to pick us up big-time.
fun nice hands
I'm not worrying about my mechanics-and that's a fun feeling. It's nice to be confident and not worry about where my hands and feet are.
