I was disappointed in our focus and our effort in the second half. I think we got complacent.

I thought everybody kept their composure. We still had to have Helen's sophomore leadership in there. She hit a couple of big shots, but I think everybody else was ready to go along with it.

We had some talented kids take off. We also played a much smarter game in the second half and we also rebounded better against a much bigger team.
bit coaching felt freshmen kids knowing scared situation staff word
We (coaches) had an idea, but these kids have never been through something like this. I don't want to use the word ignorant, but I think they were not knowing enough to be scared of the situation or to feel the pressure. Helen felt it a little bit and the coaching staff felt it a little bit, but I thought the freshmen just went out and played.
