It was just weird. Once you get the ball and you get in a situation, it's like haywire, everything goes crazy, and everybody's running around. You don't know who to pass it to or what to do. So Coach said just slow down and just make the right play. I tried to get the best look I could at the basket.
God blessed me with a lot of heart and no height, and I’ll take that any day,
You've got to get used to it. He said you need a great point guard to be a great team. I just take that into consideration that he wants me to be great. They don't call me Nate the Great for nothing. I've got to live up to the name and live up to the expectations that he wants. He's hard on me and I love it.
I think we're one of the better teams (in the state). But we won't know about a lot of the teams until the end of the year.
It's hard -- they shouldnt have even made that,
It seemed like they could look at each other and not call a play and know exactly what play they're running. They are so poised.
Even though it was a negative thing that happened, I wasn't feeling too bad, 'cause a positive thing came out of it, ... I don't fault Miami for anything; I'm just here at Rutgers, at home, where I'm happy.
I have charisma and a lot of energy and I hope that the crowd can see that. All I can do is hope so (that the crowd will get behind me). If not, then I will have to steal the crowd away from someone else. If that happens, that is what I am going to have to do.
That's the hardest thing because the fans love it. They love to see the way I get fired up. ... I think that Coach kind of gets tied in, or caught between me trying to showboat or trying to have all the attention on me I guess.
