answers assure ben bit decided expect ignore lap might past push relaxed riding seeing step warning weekend
It was really a frustrating weekend for us because we expect more than this. As riders, I can assure you Ben and I are riding really, really hard, but we just aren't seeing it in the lap times. We really don't have the answers right now. As for the restart, I decided to push things past the limit. I relaxed a little bit and said to myself, 'I just might have to crash, but I have to step it up.' In a weekend like this one, you don't think so much about the championship so much. I might as well just go past the limit, to ignore the warning signs. I did and I went a little quicker.
anybody came mutual quite racing respect rules trying
He came over trying to tell me the rules and I find that quite insulting. I've been racing a lot of years. I'm not going to have anybody tell me what the rules are or what should be done. You've got to have mutual respect out there (for other riders) and I have, all my career.
confident heading relaxed
I'm very relaxed and confident heading into the season.
chosen close exactly looking package quite race races second start sure
The race package we have is quite good. We have chosen a tyre and we know exactly what we have with our settings. There are some races that you aren't sure of where you stand, but this isn't one of them. Looking at the lap-by-lap times of all the riders, I think it's going to be a close race. I'm a little disappointed to be on the second row. I thought we had enough to start out front, but that's racing.
