He's done a good job. He has minimized his mental mistakes. He's become a starter and he has played fast in the games and made some plays. We (will) keep working with him in hopes that he'll be able to execute on a consistent basis and continue to eliminate those mental errors that can get him in trouble.
I think having poise and the ability to execute is critical to play in tough situations and we have to find a psychological balance that we can do that,
Just the opposite. I think we should do a lot of stuff. I don't think going in the bag is going to help us. Because it doesn't matter what we do we still have to execute and do it with discipline. It's not what we're doing. It's how we're doing what we're doing. Getting conservative about it is not going to help us at all.

I think that he needs to play some, I really do. With only one exhibition game under his belt, he probably needs to play a little bit more in this game.
There's an old saying, ... If a rattlesnake bites itself, it still dies.
He had a lot of tough yards out there.

The analogy that I like to use is it doesn't do a lot of good to buy a condo on the beach that the mortgage is so high on it you can't put any furniture in it. You have no couch or TV. And a part of this process is to be able to inspect that condo and make sure that it's worth what you think it might be worth.
That is the challenge for me, to keep answering them the same way.
I really tried to make this about our team, coming back here to play, I really do feel this was coming home to play a game and it was exciting for me. It was exciting to be back in Tiger Stadium.
I am surprised that I keep getting asked the same questions that I have been asked for the last six months and I keep answering them the same way,
I don't care if you are a coach or player, you have family and personal issues and those things that are of concern. Everybody's safety is of concern. I have a great appreciation for the players and what they were able to do today to stay focused on the things that we wanted to try to get accomplished.
This has no bearing on what his workload is going to be in the game.
