I think he played outstanding and I am so happy for Ricky for some positive self-gratification that he'll get from his performance today because he certainly deserves it.
He gives us a dimension out there that nobody else does in terms of his physical presence and toughness. We're happy to have it.
That's not something I'm interested in doing right now. I'm very happy to be the coach here, ... We're looking forward to the challenges of making LSU a dominant program in the future.
This is not really about me at all. I'm really pleased for the players. These players have suffered a little bit over the last year. I think that they all wanted to prove something, and I'm just happy that we could help them accomplish that.

The analogy that I like to use is it doesn't do a lot of good to buy a condo on the beach that the mortgage is so high on it you can't put any furniture in it. You have no couch or TV. And a part of this process is to be able to inspect that condo and make sure that it's worth what you think it might be worth.

I am surprised that I keep getting asked the same questions that I have been asked for the last six months and I keep answering them the same way,
I don't care if you are a coach or player, you have family and personal issues and those things that are of concern. Everybody's safety is of concern. I have a great appreciation for the players and what they were able to do today to stay focused on the things that we wanted to try to get accomplished.
