Patrick John Joseph Burnswas a National Hockey League head coach. Over 14 seasons between 1988 and 2004, he coached in 1,019 games with the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Boston Bruins, and New Jersey Devils. Burns retired in 2005 after being diagnosed with recurring cancer, which eventually claimed his life five years later...

This is a new high for our kids transferring to the State Open. It has been a very good day. We were in a tight race with Amity but had a good semifinal and also did well in the quarters.

We always stress to be patient and make five, six or seven passes before taking a shot to get settled into our offense. If we get settled down and make some good passes, our feet are usually under us when we take that first shot and it is usually a good one.
