Patrick James "Pat" Rice, MBEis a Northern Irish former footballer and coach. As a player he made over 500 appearances for Arsenal, winning the Double, and later made a hundred more appearances for Watford. He also won 49 caps for Northern Ireland. I really liked how we responded when we were down. We haven't been there and our kids, you weren't sure if they get deer-in-the-headlights type look, and they responded well.
He seems to have the tools that will get him to the big leagues: the hands, the arm, the bat. But what you notice most about him is his character. If we're ever looking for a leader, Rob can be that man.
