They were on fire tonight. This is one of the best shooting teams in the league. Tonight, they showed it.
They made a real good run at us, but it's all about holding them off and making sure that they don't get it all back.
They have to understand when you go to somebody's building it's a big game.
They just kept raising the energy level. I hate to break that up.
They just kept hanging in there and then we finally opened it up in the second half.
The second half was like night and day from the first. We were so far out of sync at both ends of the court. To be quite frank, when we were down 21-5, we were blessed.
Once he gets into the open court, forget it.
About a week ago, I was really concerned about it. They cut it to two. I thought they were going to run the string. It's good to get this. But it doesn't mean much unless you use it.
It's just good to get this win and get ready for Indiana and the next six or seven games that are coming our way.
It's just something that we couldn't financially match, ... We were not going to go out over more than two years.
It's a tough loss, from the standpoint of digging ourselves out of a hole. We didn't make big stops when we needed.
It was the kind of game I predicted. I told the team this morning that this is how we would have to play to win.
It's not easy. We need him on the court. I don't know how we're going to get around that. Two of his first three fouls were offensive.
It's that kind of attitude when we talk about getting better. How do we get better? We get better in the mind. We have a veteran team, they know how to do it. We stay disciplined with our defense and our principles and we make this kind of covenant with each other that we're going to defend.
