convention entry hard last night opened struggle wednesday
I was still working on my last entry on Wednesday night before the convention opened on Thursday. So, it was a long, hard struggle to get where I was.

fires pops push sure watching winds
We were watching to make sure nothing pops up. The winds - you never know what they're going to do. Winds can actually push fires back down the hill.

We were basically on the edges of roads. When the wind starts kicking up again, any of those fires could get pushed on to roads and in to grass.
