Mental mistakes absolutely, but I am happy with the effort we are getting. We work so hard, but sometimes in the fourth quarter experience takes over.

I think there's still a positive vibe. I hope that people realize it's an uphill battle for an expansion team, and that it's going to take a little time.

The strength of our team this year has been Paddy and he could have been the Player of the Week earlier this season if we'd have won some games.

They said he hit the goalie, but the guy who called it was way out at the restraining line. The guy on the crease actually called it a goal, but the head referee waved it off basically from what would be the blue line (in hockey).

Sometimes coaches are like elephants - we have long memories. That wasn't an honest effort from 16 guys tonight.

Kyle fought all the heavyweights in the WLA this summer and he can play, too.

further games hunt last lost playoff positives though weekend
We had some positives last weekend. Even though we lost two games last weekend we're no further out of the playoff hunt than we were before. We're still in it.
call game league penalty resilient terrible veteran
We were pretty resilient and got it down to a two-goal game and then the penalty on Quinlan - it was a horse... call. I know I'll get fined by the league but I don't care. It was a terrible call by two veteran officials.
