We have had 29 schools already, which means 1,700 children are so far going to the show. I am sure there will be more after the Easter holidays.

We have had a few reports of different types of lasers -- the light entering the cockpit -- whether that has been from a terrorist group or from other groups we are not sure but that's the investigation we are doing.

We were told we would be kept up on the time. If we don't have a scoreboard, we shouldn't play at that field.

We were a lot faster on the banking, and the BMWs seemed to be going pretty wide. We were able to hold it tight and get a run out of there. We started out on scrubbed tires, and I overshot it a bit on the first couple laps, expecting too much from them. The balance of the tires came back and I was able to charge forward and give the car to Jan with the lead.
We were always right there. It's just that no one ever made that play to get us over the top.

We were aware that we really had to change the cost structure of the company and change the investment profile and the focus to some degree and shed some assets in order to remain competitive, ... It is clear that just fixing our operational issues, although critical, is not sufficient.

What I do know, however, is that no other team in the line-up will be better prepared for this event than the Lothians.

We never did just one take. Multiple takes. Many. I did a bunch. Sometimes I do one take. Sometimes I did 20.

I like taking genres and subverting them. I did that with In the Valley of Elah. I said, Okay, this is just a murder mystery. Relax. And then, two thirds of the way through, I broke every convention of a murder mystery.

country war responsibility
If you make a film and then two and a half, three years later, suddenly the country's changed and you look like you just happened to hit it. I actually like being contrarian. I would have preferred to come out three years ago when everyone was disagreeing with me. But hopefully it asks a lot of questions about our responsibility in sending young men and women to war, especially a war that's so complex, where there's no right answer, where they're forced with impossible decisions every day.

I just want to thank people who take big risks in their daily lives when there aren't cameras rolling. I want to dedicate this award to people who stand up for peace and against injustice and intolerance.
