That was not a senior play. But the guys didn't lose their composure. I just wish we were healthy. We're the only team in the conference who hasn't been healthy from start to finish.

It was a win that was sweet because how we were able to win it. We struggled with our defensive intensity in the second half. It helps with our momentum going into the (league) tournament.

That shows you if we could have had him at full tilt how much better we would have played. We weren't going to play him at all, but he said he wanted to dress and see what he could do.

He's a clever little player that causes a lot of problems. We wanted to make sure that anybody who wasn't guarding him was paying him some attention as far as helping.

I didn't know if we had the fortitude to win those grit-type games that go on in the Horizon League, especially when you shoot just 35%. They're not there yet, but they had glimpses. Getting 19 offensive rebounds gives you a chance. Getting them to turn the ball over 14 times gives you a chance. I think the other thing is holding them to 37% shooting. It showed some growth in that they mustered up some pride on their home floor and gritted it out.

We were our own worst enemy at times. We put ourselves in position to win but put them on the line too much.
