I was the best guy, you know, all through Little League and Pop Warner and that kind of stuff. But when I went to high school, I was undersized. I didn't grow. I was behind the whole puberty cycle. I didn't like high school.
People make mistakes all the time. We learn and grow. If there's patience and love, and you care for people, you can work them through it, and they can find their greatest heights.
We are not going to do that again.
Turnover margin has been our No. 1 emphasis since I've been at USC. We feel that as you keep it going, you're going to be hard to beat.
We don't have that number (of touches) in mind. One of the guys you could compare him to his Marshall Faulk, in that offense of the Rams. We'd be lucky if he could be like that.
We're excited to get back home. ... We have an opportunity to be pretty healthy and in pretty good shape.
We would have won the game right there. The decision, in my opinion, in our way of thinking, you're going for it all the time.
We work real hard to make visits from NFL scouts as beneficial as possible. We offer our guys everything from A to Z as they go through the process.
We didn't have a very big crowd, and there wasn't much enthusiasm about our opener. But we got off to a good start, and we got a win, but we had to savor it because we didn't get another one for a long time.
Walt has been coaching too long to let his team not respond.
We're so young in so many areas. These next two weeks will be huge for our development.
With the little bits I have, no. I'm not concerned about that one bit. I'm more concerned with helping the process and making sure everything comes to the front.
We're going to continue to evaluate the situation and see what's going on.
We're in great shape, and everything is going to work out for the long haul. I'm not looking. I don't care about those opportunities. ... This is a good time for this. There'll be a tremendous amount of movement in the NFL a week from now.
