You can watch our players. He has generated this tremendous level of effort by our linemen and our receivers because they don't know where he's going to wind up, and they're convinced when he's running the football it might be to right where they are. Nobody wants to be embarrassed by not having a full level of effort on the play.
That only makes sense to me. (Booty) feels terrific - he has no pain at all. To see John David feeling so good gives us the feeling he's going to jump out of this rehab. He wants to throw right now - he feels like he can throw right now.
He's been feeling this for years, and he doesn't feel it anymore, so he's ecstatic about the surgery because he knows that he's beyond that. He wants to go out and throw right now. That's how good he feels, he thinks he can go out and do stuff.

I think it's a tremendous accomplishment. I made it clear to the guys after the fact,
He is handling it as well as you can handle it, but there is a tremendous burden for him and he is just a young pup trying to make it,
He'll be sore, but we'll be counting on him,
Matt has no intention of doing that. He knows the possibility. I talked to him about it a week or so ago because I'd heard this stuff floating around, and he said, 'No, I'm not doing that.'
