South Brunswick is a good team but we were in the hunt. We could have won the game and that's how I feel about everybody we've played this year. We're always competitive, but we just didn't put any runs on the board.

The field was like a sandbox and Kristine couldn't get her footing on the mound. She eventually got into a rhythm and shut E.B. down for the rest of the game.

If we hit like this last year, I could have brought a lawn chair to the games. We're averaging 11 hits per game, and it's been a nice compensation.

The last three spots in the order will be juggled a bit. We have a couple of talented freshmen down there.

We're very young, and I'll need to be very patient with this group. The objective is to bring them along one step at a time.

The expectations are very high for them down the road. Kristina is a very good athlete, and Michelle will come around at the plate in time.
