I don't see this as being in the taxpayer's interest -- going to higher hourly rates and people who are going to be billing us for more hours. Engineering services are a significant portion of our general fund budget. It's over $100,000. And right now I think we're getting a great value for our dollar and good service. I just don't see a reason to change.

Frank has been the financial conscious of this township. I served with him on the pension committee. His mind and his way with numbers is extraordinary. That has been a great benefit to this community.

I haven't made up my mind but I see at least two benefits. The township would get a nest egg that could be invested and help us avoid tax increases and maybe help with things like building a new senior citizens center. Also, selling the system to a larger entity allows spreading out the cost of improvements to the system over a larger customer base.

It was definitely another good year for the golf course. I don't see anything on the horizon that would cause us concern. As long as we continue to provide a good product, I don't see any reason why the people will not continue to come.
