Selecting winners for the Cisco Growing with Technology Award was a challenging process for our judging panel since we received so many quality applications from organizations who have dramatically improved their business through the use of technology. The winners have proven that there is a direct correlation between a companys network and its ongoing business success.
They have the toughest job. They have their market cap, and now they have to prove they are worth it by staying on track with revenue growth. There is less upside for new hires because the big boost has already gone by.
Size does not carry anything like the momentum that it used to. With the lowering of barriers to entry, big companies have to earn their continued success every day.
