games great learn lose six teams took
You look at the great teams and all the great teams went 30-1, 30-2. They took a loss. You've got to learn when you lose in the beginning, you just have to learn from it. You can never let it be a setback. If it's a setback, you can lose five, six games in a row.
carolina coaches coming job mature might mind north older toll took year
Having Curtis on our mind during the North Carolina game, it took a toll on us. It might not have shown, but it took a toll on everyone from the coaches to the players. Coming into this year, we're just a year older and much more mature and we know that we have a job to do out there.
ourselves program start took
If we're going to make this program go, it had to start with us. We took it upon ourselves that we've got to do this.
contested defending finding florida great job sure time took
Florida did a great job finding our shooters, defending the three-point line. Every time we took a shot, they made sure it was a contested shot.
contested easy shot sure time took
Every time we took a shot, it was a contested shot. They made sure every shot we took was not an easy one.
believes games grind type
That's the type of games that we like. I know no one believes us... but we like to grind games out.
feels people
It feels good. Just look (around at all the people in the Pavilion), it feels good.
roll wait
We've got to get it together. We can't wait for them to roll over and die.
basically coming hunted taking
This year, we're taking a different approach. Basically I think that we are the hunted and they're coming after us.
nervous peace people putting stadium walking waving
Walking into the stadium of 80,000 people was amazing. I was nervous at first, but then I started to get into it, waving at people and putting up the peace sign.
matter seed team
We still have to go out there and play the game. The other team is hungry, just like we are hungry. It doesn't matter once you get out there on the court. If you are a one seed or a 16th seed, once you get into the tournament.
sleeping
He?s driving. I?m sleeping on the way back.
job together
He's a big part of what we do. If he's out for the year, we just have to come together as a team. We still have a job to do.
knew
We just knew what we had to do to win.
