I would give it to Nash. No question about it. I don't think anybody in the NBA is playing the way he's playing and his team is doing what they're doing. Take him off the roster and they would not be where they are.
It's just dirty basketball. It's plain, outright, dirty basketball. I don't mind the competition, someone going at me on both ends of the floor ... but when guys start throwing elbows and kick you when you're down, that's dirty basketball and I don't respect guys like that.
Everybody ran. We got buckets in a lot of different ways. We kept running, we kept pushing it.
I think all of us had respect for coach McMillan. Some of us may not have liked his style, but it got results. We were successful with it and you have to give him credit for that. He deserves that.
The discipline stuff, I'm going to leave that to the coaches and management,
After the first half, I thought we were in great shape. We were only down two, and we should have actually been up. We were in the game. I just think everyone was one step behind.
It's nothing I haven't known, ... It's just a couple of the parties involved came forward.
I never apologize for blowing anybody out. I love it. Let us have our moment to be able to play.
The shots were there for me tonight. It was a fun game to play because it went back and forth.
It may sound like a small thing, but I think Bob is less concerned about things that don't have to do with basketball,
It was such a contrast between halves. The first half they had us on our heels and it seemed like the ball was in their court. In the third quarter it turned and you could see the difference. We started getting loose balls and were able to run.
It's no fun to think about individual success when as a team you don't make the playoffs. I don't really take pride in what I did because the team didn't do well.
I think we've had a perfect complement of learning basketball and getting in shape. My description of Bob is he's the head coach, he respects us out there on the floor and we do our job.
It seems like teams always get off to a slow start here. But we practiced pretty well for it and we were able to run and keep the ball moving.
