We're going to do everything we can to bring a championship to New Orleans.
We're in state of shock. It's tough, but at the same time we have nothing to hang our heads about.
We're here for you and we're going to have fun.
I guess you can say it's mine to lose if I didn't take the proper steps in presenting myself to be the No. 1 draft pick. I'm competing every day.
I'm taking this whole experience in and just enjoying being back here, playing for the national championship in Los Angeles. It isn't getting sweeter than that.
Sometimes it works in your favor, sometimes it doesn't.
For me, being an every-down back is key. It's one of my goals, and I think little things are going to help me do that, like pass blocking. The little things that are going to help you stay in there every down are the things I'm going to have to possibly work on.
I don't have to down-talk Oklahoma. Everyone saw the way we played, saw the way Oklahoma played. It's really pretty self-explanatory.
It's going to be a great, long relationship.
I think I proved that I'm the number-one pick.
I'm curious about it. I would like to see what happens. I'm a fan of football in general. You know, whatever happens in this game, it won't have any effect on me. Obviously it will just mean who gets the first pick in the NFL draft.
My pastor at church told me that what's going on now is similar to a horse race. The horses come out of the gate with blinders on. The reason they do this is so they don't get distracted. Well, that's how I am with this. I'm focused on what is ahead.
I think it's a positive statement, that we could possibly compete as one of the greatest offenses, the greatest teams, in college football ever.
Obviously, me and Alex never knew that this was possible. It would be great if that could happen. I remember talking about this day when I was a little kid in Pop Warner football.
