asked kids
Our kids were patient, just like I asked them to be.
last offensive
You (may) think the last play is the game. I think there was a little spurt of turnovers on the offensive end that got us.
ahead challenge energy excited gym knew next offense
The first half, (we) showed energy and knew why you were in the gym and excited about the challenge that was ahead of us. In the next 10 minutes, it was turnover city. The offense never got cooking.
control game kids seen
I've never seen two kids control a game so much in my life.
court ran throw

chip team

fans great guard guards history penn please point tough

came fought happy kids patient winning
We're happy to be here one more night. We fought very, very hard, our kids were patient and we came up on the winning side.
backseat beginning newness stuff ten watching
We're getting better at some stuff and there's a will to win. I think in the beginning they were in the backseat watching the Big Ten. ... There was a newness about the Big Ten that they had to understand. Now, we'll see if they understand.
fade faded fading game michigan minutes night seven time
With Michigan State, it was seven minutes to go in the game and we fade away. The other night (against Minnesota) with 2 1/2 minutes to go we were winning, then we faded away. So, the time that we are fading away is getting (smaller). We're making progress.
moral stretch work
There are no moral victories. We have some things down that stretch that we are going to work on.
advantage tried
We let some things get away from us. We didn't take advantage of that. We tried to get some penetration and didn't succeed.
