bed goodness himself hope hours less listen people round six telling tiring travel
People are telling Ernie to travel less because he is tiring himself out. I hope he doesn't listen to that nonsense. I used to travel round the world with six children, no jet, and it was 30 hours from Johannesburg to America. Ernie's got a bed on his plane, for goodness sake. It's all in the mind.

It's surprising he hasn't won more. Maybe it's a self-confidence thing or a putting problem or something else, but he's playing very solid this week.

I holed a few putts like the one at the ninth. But overall the round was pretty much just down the fairway, on the green and two putts.
bit hit hitting irons matter straight
As long as you hit it straight (at Augusta National) it doesn't matter how long you hit it. You still have to hit it straight and hit the shots. I think I'm hitting my irons a little bit better at the moment, which is a big plus.

It's definitely quieter out there than you normally hear around Augusta.
anybody course played unhappy
I don't think anybody will be unhappy with the way the course played today.
bit break lucky nice roll
There was about a yard-and-a-half break on the putt, so it was nice to roll that one in. I was a little bit on the lucky side.

I had a funny feeling somebody would shoot low around here ... if the weather stayed the way it was.
close hit iron nine par perfectly putt
I hit a nine iron perfectly to get close to the hole, then unfortunately hit the par putt a little too hard.
good putting saves
My putting is good at the moment, ... I'm making a lot of good saves out of the rough.
ball course dry nice running throw ton water yards
The ball is running 30 yards down the hill. They are probably going to go and throw a ton of water on the fairways to make it not run. But I think it would be nice to see the course dry for a change.
bad drive driving few hit hopefully quite work
I would like to go for the greens, but I keep driving in the rough. That's the problem. I hit a few bad drives. I didn't quite drive it as well as I did Thursday. I need to work on that a little this afternoon, and hopefully play better Saturday.
