Whether or not anything happened, just staging an event like that is a problem. They are representatives of their university and schools have an understood code of conduct, and these guys obviously thought they were going to get away with it and thought it wasn't a big deal. That is unacceptable.

The most encouraging thing is finally it's narrowing. This is something I've been writing about for so long, and it's been the most discouraging thing about athletics and academics -- that gap has been persistently wide, and has in some cases gotten wider.
