coming compete expect group guys job knew nobody sustain together
There's nobody we can't go out and compete against. But again, it's such a new group. I always knew what to expect with the group in the past, but I don't know what to expect if we keep winning. Are we going to be able to sustain it and make it? These guys have done an unbelievable job of coming together as a team.
draws effort floor goes good guy guys pushing quality says younger
He has a quality about him that draws other guys into it -- the way they play, the effort they put on. He's always pushing. He's pushing the younger guys, saying, 'That's not good enough.' When a guy says that and then goes out on the floor and does it, it has an impact.
continue stay talk trust within
I'll talk to Ron. He has to stay within the flow. He's going to continue to come out and be a factor. He's just got to trust his teammates. Hopefully, that's what he's going to do.
defensive hard huge needed offensive plays ron stepped stretch terrific tonight
Ron has been terrific for us. He plays hard and he does everything you need him to do. Tonight he stepped up huge down the stretch on the offensive and defensive end when we needed him.
last liked night saw shoot shot
I saw Brent shoot that shot so many times last night, I can't tell you. And I always liked Brent before.
last work year
If I'm in my last year and things don't work out,
control happened second stagnant stopped sudden took worse
I don't know what happened in the second quarter. All of the sudden we just got stagnant and stopped doing things offensively, and then we got worse defensively while they took control of the game.
effective steve
You want to know who's really underrated? It's Shawn Marion. He's just as effective as Steve Nash is for that team. If they didn't have him, they wouldn't have the same team.
basketball excited playing start
He did fine, better than I thought. I think he was excited to start playing basketball again.
hard impressive obviously time
He's just been a monster. They have a hard time guarding him. He's quick, he's aggressive, he's obviously strong. I think the most impressive thing is the way he rebounded the ball.
five floor guys ourselves team took trust
There was frustration out there and we haven't had a lot of that this year. We took ourselves out of the game. We have to play better as a team. The five guys on the floor have to play better as a team and trust each other and we're not doing that right now.
ahead obviously poorly quarter second stops
Obviously it was a real disappointing loss. We did very poorly offensively in the second quarter and just couldn't play well as a team. They got ahead of us and we couldn't get the stops to get into the game.
continue force imposing knowing level maturing people playing rather reason taking understanding
He's maturing and knowing and understanding what he has to do to be successful. I think he's kind of imposing his will on people rather than just taking what people force him to do. . . . He's just playing with a lot more confidence. . . . I don't see any reason why he wouldn't continue to play at that level in the playoffs.
beat explain four game gone hit shots three wish
I wish I knew. I wish I knew. ... I think we hit three or four shots right at the end of the game to beat them. They could have gone the other way. I can't explain it but I'll keep it.
