believe finding guys prefer team ways year
Believe me, I'd prefer it not be this way. But one thing about our team is that we've had different guys all year finding different ways to win.
both defense explode good teams
Both teams play good defense and I think that's why they are where they are right now. But both teams can explode offensively. Both can put up numbers.
areas continue definitely game improve improvement night ready
Every game in this league, as you know in any league, that night you've got to be ready to play. We've got to continue to improve. There are areas we definitely can improve in.
believed chance playing
Every chance we could go inside, that's what we wanted to do. We've always believed in playing inside-out.
point win
At this point in the season, you take a win any way you can get 'em.
basketball coming five good people ranked six start team three top
Coming in, they were like us, a team that's up there. They start three seniors, and they are a good basketball team. If people thought they were just going to go away, you don't get ranked in the top five or six in the preseason if you don't have a good team.
care damage ended felt float gave guys high somebody tried
We tried to keep two guys down around the block. Every now and then we would float somebody into the high post. We felt like if we could take care of the ball, get it on the rim, that we could do some damage there. We ended with 17 of them (offensive rebounds) and that gave us 17 more opportunities.
We wouldn't be where we are without him.
beginning goal handled knew looking obviously proud start target team
Obviously it was a goal we had at the beginning of the season. At the start of the year, looking at our schedule, we knew we had a target on our backs, and I am proud of the way the team handled it.
handling sixteen time year
Right now, if there's any one thing I can change, it's handling the basketball. Sixteen turnovers at this time of year just kills you.
best far game gave mike since williams
Mike Williams gave us by far and away his best game since he's been at Texas.
coaching hopefully learned less save
When I was at Providence, I'd feel like every day I was coaching to save my life. As you get older, hopefully you get smarter. I've learned that sometimes less is more.
daniel doubt guard hand playing pride puts quicker time wanting wants
One thing about Daniel is he does take a lot of pride in wanting to guard people. If I called a time out, say someone is playing really well, and I say 'who wants to guard them?' There's no doubt he puts his hand up quicker than anybody.
