dignity everywhere excuses feet shows stuck
I don't think it shows much dignity to make excuses after you get your butts kicked. It was like they're everywhere and our feet were stuck in mud.
beat eight face guard guys high level playing point position production second six team
Our point guard position was really tremendous, especially in the second half. That's the kind of production we need at all our positions. Let's face it, we're the kind of team right now where we're playing eight guys (Friday). We need six out of eight (players) playing at a high level to beat a team like Sacramento.
guys injuries
The injuries are disappointing, but I'm not dismayed about it because we don't have anything that's really severe, and guys are getting better.
count guy johnson
Anthony Johnson is a guy you can count on.
bad disaster fought good hard ourselves played position quarter second three
It's just too bad, because we really played hard for three quarters. The second quarter was really a disaster for us. It put us in a bad position at halftime, but we fought back and really put ourselves in a good position to win.
chance finishing game giving great job key plays second themselves
The key part of the game was the end of the second quarter. They did a great job finishing plays and giving themselves a chance to win. ... We couldn't get over the hump.
coaches coaching fight games group guys hard losing prepared staff
As a staff we have to keep coaching hard and keep getting these guys prepared to play. The games keep coming. That's just the way it is in this league. We're going to fight our way out of this as a group collectively: players, coaches and everybody. Losing streaks are no fun.
guys open split timing
The way it happened, there were some guys open for a split second. The timing was just off enough that we couldn't get anything.
ball concerned due everybody lately league playing shooting struggled taking
He's struggled lately shooting the ball and I was concerned he was due to come out of it. He's playing very well. What he's doing defensively has everybody in the league taking notice.
closer happened knew last memphis moved night schedule week
He may have moved his schedule up because of what happened in Memphis last night. We knew he was getting closer and closer. I thought it could be this week some time.

Anthony Johnson played a terrific game. He's playing with great aggressiveness and savvy and understanding the pulse of the team he is running.
achilles couple further hip last lingering percent problem situation taking timetable treatment
The situation with his hip is very positive, ... He has a lingering Achilles (tendon) problem from last year. He has been taking treatment on it the last couple of months. I think his timetable to play at 100 percent is going to be a little further down the line.
guy opportunity perform rare top
The guy's at the top of his game. It's a rare opportunity to see a guy perform at this level.
games process starts
This is going to be a process for him. I would think it's going to be 20 to 30 games before he really starts to feel comfortable after being off for that long.
