ability defensive guy year
He's going to be in the picture, for a lot of reasons. His defensive ability is very important to us. He's a young guy who's experiencing a lot right now and that bodes well for this year and the future.
ability lucky maybe miss next replace week
There's no way to replace his energy, his athleticism and his playmaking ability at that position. We miss him defensively. We're lucky he doesn't have to have surgery, and if we're lucky, maybe we will be able to get him back next week sometime.
ability drew enhance players teams
The thing that drew us to him is . . . he has the ability to enhance the abilities of the players around him. His teams have a way of jelling.
ability defensive feet game good
Early, you could tell he was getting his feet under him. As the game went on, you could see the things he has the ability to do offensively and defensively. He's going to be a very good defensive player.
ability closer condition encourage good players shooter strength
I just want him to play his game. We try to encourage our players to play to their strengths. His strength is his vision. He has the ability to be a very good shooter when he's in condition and got his rhythm. He's getting closer to that.
ability ball far high jack means miller nba shoot terms
He's not Reggie Miller from the 3-point line, but he's not far from it in terms of his ability to get the ball in the basket, ... For me, Jack is an NBA shooter. He is an NBA-caliber shooter, which means he's going to shoot in the high 30s (percent) from 3.
ability ball basket difference hung nightmare stops timely tough
We hung in and were able to get stops when we had to. It's really tough because Iverson is a nightmare out there. The combination of timely stops and the ability to get the ball in the basket when we had to made a difference for us.
carter difference played
I thought we played hard. I thought we rebounded well. (Jason) Kidd and (Vince) Carter are difference makers.
brings leader together unselfish
I thought that was a very unselfish leader thing to do. That's the kind of thing that brings you together as a team.
areas good period sure tough
I thought Tinsley did well considering he hasn't played. I wanted to make sure we didn't put him out there for too long a period of time. He did some good things, but it's going to be tough in some areas because the conditioning isn't going to be the way you want it to be. It was good to see him back.
beginning eight lead second undoing
I think we hade eight turnovers in the third. The eight turnovers, and what they lead to, was our undoing in the beginning of the second half. They were the aggressor. We were on our heels.
defense good hard schemes throw
I think we could throw him out there tonight. He'd go out there and he'd have a good feel for the game. It would be hard for him on defense with the schemes we run.
ronnie team
I thought Ronnie struggled. At times he went away from what we were doing as a team and that disappointed me.
finding gave great guys hanging ourselves played stepped
I thought our guys showed a lot guts, hanging and finding a way to claw back in the game. Jermaine O'Neal was great and we had a lot of other guys who stepped up and played big. We had a chance, we gave ourselves a chance.
