choice good nobody street team
I'm going to do what I can to win, and if it's not good enough, they'll tell me, ... But there's a big difference. This year, if we do well and I can get this team to win, it's my choice what I want to do at the end of the year. It's nobody else's. This isn't just a one-way street here.
death difficult five games good happened looks scare six win work
I know what they're going through. It's a difficult situation. It looks good on paper, but it doesn't always work that way. When they made the deal, I thought they were going to be more athletic. They scare me to death because they have talent. Who knows, they can win one or two games and then win five or six in a row. That's what happened to us.
basketball embraced fact great himself knows pace player run sells speed thinks wants work
I've always told Kenton that he sells himself short. He's a much better basketball player than he thinks he is. He's got a great pace to his game. You're not going to speed him up much. He's really embraced the fact that he wants to run the team. He's comfortable now. He knows his teammates. He knows what we need to work our way into.
absolute couple necessity time took tough tried worried
A.J. was real solid. I was worried about his minutes. I tried to give him a couple of breaks. Every time we took him out, we had to get him back in there. It was tough having to play him (40) minutes. It was an absolute necessity for us.
basketball dependable full last leaders leaders-and-leadership locker longtime players recovery relative room three
He's been one of our steady, dependable players over the last three years. He's one of the leaders in our locker room because he is a longtime veteran. Those things you're going to miss, but the important thing right now is that he makes a full recovery relative to basketball and day-to-day living.
blow chance glad guys kidding ncaa penn teams
I don't know what you guys expect. This is the NCAA Tournament. If you guys think we're going to blow teams out, then you don't have a feel for what we're doing. Are you kidding me? I'm glad we're getting a chance to play one more time. Let's give Penn credit. It was what I expected.
basketball beat close crowd fourth good great high hit home nice quality quarter school team terms time win
This was a big win in terms of the district, but it's a big win any time you beat a good quality team on their home court. We had a nice fourth quarter and we hit a lot of free-throws at the end ... and you know, this is what high school basketball is all about. The crowd was into it and it was close all the way through, and it was just a great ball game.
against atlanta earned fight kick ourselves time victories
We had some time but they smothered us. We'll look back and kick ourselves about what could have been, but you've got to give Atlanta credit. They fight hard, they play well, they earned the victories against us.
ability certainly game gone haunted maybe score year
What's haunted us all year is our ability to score goals. I thought that was a game where we could have gone up by certainly at least two, maybe three.

bench consistent guys learning needed people
We didn't have a lot of people on the bench and we needed the young guys to give us consistent minutes. They're learning and they're getting better.
along blue course grass hole plains stem talked
We talked about naming the course Blue Stem Plains and this hole will have the blue-stem grass planted along it.
level needed nice open stayed tone wide win
We didn't set the tone and we got down big. I thought we had wide open shots, and we couldn't make them. We stayed with it, but just got down too far, and they had a nice level of comfort. We didn't play as well as we needed to play to win this game.
