asthma best bothering legs taking team upset
His legs are very strong. You couldn't see it tonight. He's got asthma and it was bothering him some. He was so upset and down with his performance. He's one of the best on our team about taking a charge.
easier four guys job
These guys have made my job easier for four years. I don't know what I'm going to do without them.
heady keeps looks player plays
He keeps it simple. He's not flashy. It looks like he plays to win, not to look good. He's a heady player and keeps it under control.
happened mean past playing region teams winning
It's two winning teams playing in the region finals. Anything that's happened in the past doesn't mean a thing.
hit practice seeing surprise
It's not a surprise to us. We're used to seeing (him hit those shots) in practice.
almost arrogance confidence fine players
It's a fine line. It's almost an arrogance some players play with. And they've got to have some of it. You want to have confidence without too much arrogance with it.
playing seems takes taking
I've done it before. That seems to be what it takes sometimes. Not taking anything away from Central, but we're just not playing hard.
handle impress move people seen size talented
I think if people haven't seen Thaddeus Young they don't know how talented he is. He's going to impress a lot of people with his size and how he can move and handle the ball.
expect great hard physical strong
He's a great player, so we expect that from him every night. He's just so strong that it's hard to be physical with him.
five floor respond scoreboard state step supposed team though won
If our five on the floor aren't doing what they are supposed to do, we're going to put five more out there. Scoreboard doesn't matter. Even though you've won back-to-back state titles, you have to do more than just step on the floor. Every team has us circled on their schedule. We have to respond to that.
capitalize good limit mistakes playing sharp teams trip
We have to limit our own mistakes and capitalize on their mistakes. When two good teams are playing each other, you've got to be sharp mentally. Every trip counts.
decent panic stopped
We were getting decent looks, but they were going in and out. The panic set in and we stopped doing the little things to score.
knew plays ran teammates win
We just executed. We ran plays and knew where out teammates were. We don't always win that way.
ankle check faster
We think it's a sprain, but we're going to check it out more on Monday. It swelled faster than any ankle (sprain) I've ever seen.
