The SPUI design is much safer, because of longer exit ramps with increased storage that eliminate the backup on the freeway. And when you exit I-94 to Telegraph, with the SPUI design, the decision of which direction you want is made on the ramp, at a slower speed. Before, that decision was made on mainline I-94 itself.

They're pretty extensive repairs. I fully anticipate we should have those bridges reopened to traffic some time in October.

As long as you're not putting salt on a dry surface, it usually sticks. We anticipate the salt will be working fine.

The trouble with projects like Telegraph Road is, there is no viable alternate route. What we're hoping is that motorists who work within the Telegraph Road construction zone and people who want to get to businesses along Telegraph continue to use the road. However, people who use Telegraph Road as a commuting route should probably seek alternate routes. That's what normally happens in cases like this.
