Robert Davenport
Robert Davenportwas an English dramatist of the early seventeenth century. Nothing is known of his early life or education; the title pages of two of his plays identify him as a "Gentleman," though there is no record of him at either of the two universities or the Inns of Court. glue good guys looking missing pieces recruiting
Looking at my team, I still like the guys I have here. We've got some good pieces in here. But what we're missing right now is the glue to put it all together, and that's what we're out recruiting for right now.
attempts begin came expected good juice shot start waiting
We had more turnovers than shot attempts to begin the game. We came out flat-footed, and I really didn't think that was the way we were going to start the game. I expected a little more juice than that. It's kind of like we were waiting to see how good they were.
ball field foul knew maintain post presence second trouble
We got in foul trouble in the post in the second half, and we couldn't maintain the presence inside. They knew that when the ball went up, they could go get it. They had a field day.
felt few games hide hit miss run shots stay three ways
We didn't run it in our first three games because we wanted to hide it a little bit. We felt like it was one of the few ways we'd be able to stay in the game, if we could get them to miss some shots and we could hit a few.
ball field knew whipped
We got whipped inside. Aldridge and Williams, they knew when the ball went up, they could go get it. They had a field day.
final games headaches january life schedule scheduling six standpoint takes tough weeks
From the standpoint of scheduling games, it makes our life a lot easier. It's tough for us to find games in January and February, and considering that this schedule will take place during the final six weeks of our season, it's perfect. That takes away a lot of the headaches we've had over here.
colin far game listens miss money playing
He didnt miss much, ... I told Colin when he got here, if he listens to what we tell him, then hes going to make money playing this game for a long, long time. And so far hes been like a sponge. Hes soaked everything in that weve told him.
arkansas athletes dominated half second sheer slow took
We wanted to slow Brewer down and make it a low-scoring game. In the first half we did that. In the second half, the sheer physicality of Arkansas dominated the game. Their better athletes took over.

Weve got a good group of speakers coming, and Im sure that group will only get better in the coming years.
closely follow looked played record saw surprised won
I was surprised when I saw them in the tournament. I didn't follow them closely after we played them. But when I looked at their record and saw they won 24 games, it makes sense.
ball bottom expect line shoot win
The bottom line is we've got to shoot the ball better. We can't shoot like that and expect to win games. That's all there is to it.
anywhere assistant bob bring coach decision far five head higher home planning seven somebody unless
As far as I'm concerned, I'm not going anywhere unless somebody higher than me makes the decision not to bring me back. I've been here for seven years, two as the head coach and five as an assistant (under Bob Hoffman). I like the Valley, I like the school, this is my home and I'm not planning on going anywhere right now.
ben bench guy help major shooting shots smart
I really think Ben can help us this year, ... Hes not going to play major minutes, but hes a guy that can come off the bench and make some big shots for us. He has the shooting ability, and hes a smart player, so were going to use him.
arkansas athletic best bit good illinois team
I'd say Arkansas is every bit as good as Illinois, the best team we've played. Illinois is a little more savvy, but Arkansas is as athletic, or more athletic than Illinois.
