It's always good to get the first area win under your belt. We wanted to get off to a fast start. That was big. Lanier has the ability to beat you. But we put them at a huge disadvantage early and we were able to walk out of here with a win.

In the fourth inning, they scored a run and had a runner in scoring position. I walked out on the field to calm them down. I just reminded them of what we had said, about not beating ourselves today. They calmed down and we kept them from scoring any more runs.
