I don't know that I've seen anything like it,
I'm just going to treat it all week, ... My next outing is Friday on the road (at Milwaukee). So I'll start (today) rehabbing and getting ready to go again.
As a starter, if I were to look at this lineup here, ... you're always going to have one or two guys. But when you get three or four ... you're going to have to be coming in with it.
I wanted to thank her properly at the Hall of Fame, ... But I keep playing this silly game.
It seems like days ago when Lance and Brad went deep.
It's just disappointing, ... I don't like coming out of those and putting Brad in that situation. I know he loves those situations, too. But when it doesn't work out ... you hate to come out on the short end of it.
I've never really been nervous at all in my playoff experiences,
I know he's looking forward to getting home, but this is exciting for him to be able to meet more of his future teammates, and it's great that I got to be able to see it, too. It's a great facility and a great campus. It's not like the minor league places I've been to.
I've been fulfilling some personal services (in his contract). I'm here for this, today.
I was able to beat a few guys in the zone and they (fly balls) stayed in the ballpark,
I came out of the Classic pretty good, a couple of days sooner than we wanted. It was fun. Once we got the uniforms on and got out there and heard the anthems, it was pretty good. You could tell the other clubs were a little further advanced than us.
I worry more about the man's health than I do about him hitting home runs or whatever this witch hunt we're on.
I was as on edge as anyone because we were backed in a corner a little bit. I don't care who it is you're facing. In this tournament, as you've seen already, anything can happen.
I ponder to myself, this could be my last couple of starts or your last one. I'm trying to get everybody in here that wants to be a part of this and really share it with everyone. I never want to look back.
