bench cost free haunt kinds knew minds remember shooting state team thinking three trouble weeks
When we started the season, we knew this team would have trouble shooting free throws. And we did all kinds of things to try to take the kids' minds off it. Everyone on our bench knew it could come back to haunt us, and it did. I remember thinking three weeks ago, this could cost us a state championship.
beginning good lead third
When we got that lead at the end of the third quarter, beginning of the fourth, I thought we're in pretty good shape.
game hard knew stuck worked
We knew they were a little undersized going in. We worked hard and we stuck to our game plan.
goal held points time
We held them 14 points under our goal and any time you can do that, it's pretty good.
hold team understand
When you can hold a team to under a 10-spot every quarter, you're doing the job. I think they understand the concept.
kinds minds
We did all kinds of things to to take their minds off shooting.
