This is exactly the kind of thing that Trump supporters are fed up with about the Republican Party, how easy it is for so many in the Republican Party to sell out the party and join the Democrats - or not sell out the party, but stay within the party and advance the Democrats' agenda, be it with amnesty and immigration, abortion, who knows whatever it is.
Obama and Hillary Clinton - and dare I say most of the Democrat Party. They refuse to accept that there is terrorism in Islam. They refuse to believe that the Muslim religion has aspects of it that are oriented toward terror. They refuse to acknowledge the whole concept of Islamic supremacist ideology.
Think of the Republican Party as the opposition to the Democrats. It doesn't exist in California!
The movement that appears to be put together and led by Trump actually existed before Trump came along. The people fed up with the Republican Party, the Tea Party types, the people fed up with the Republican Washington establishment, Democrats included.

If you accept that conservatism equals constitutionalism - and I do - well, then, where do we start? We do we start reinstituting all of these values, the morality in the culture, in our society; the respect for rule of law. And then you look at what we're up against, an entire Democrat Party.
The Republican Party seems just as eager as the Democrats to pronounce their voters as extreme kooks.
We can't unify around a single premise! Name one thing the Republican Party today could unify on. You can't.
It isn't personal per se to document what the Republican Party leadership is doing and how they're abrogating actual leadership.
Donald Trump - whatever he was warning the Democrats, whatever he's warning African-Americans about - he wasn't criticizing them. He was criticizing the Democrat Party. He was telling them it's the Democrat Party that has made their bed for 'em, and it's time that that changed.
