college converted good high knew surprise turning weight
Clawson's not any kind of a surprise for us, we knew he was going to be a good high jumper...and he did well for us on the 4x400 meter relay. Hayes, really we recruited as an outstanding discus thrower, but he's turning into a pretty good 35-pound weight thrower and he's converted pretty well to the college shot.

I don't know about his status for this weekend, but I can promise he won't be triple jumping.
adjustment freshmen given good great integrated job lots performing system
Some are doing really well as freshmen and some are doing well considering they're freshmen. It's always an adjustment in lots of different facets. They're doing a great job of getting integrated into our system and being good teammates, and some of them are actually performing well. The other ones will, given time.
alternate book either meet rule score turned
When it turned into a quad, I wanted to do something different. The rule book allows you to do one of two things: either score it like a championship meet (10, 8, 6, 4, 2, 1) or this alternate method, this (wasn't) a championship meet.
