Sarah Will
Sarah Will is a paralympic skier who spent 11 years on the U.S. Disabled Ski Team. During this time, she earned a record 13 medalswhile competing in four Winter Paralympic Games between 1992 and 2002. Will serves as a ski instructor and is otherwise active in the Vail community. She was named to the United States Olympic Hall of Fame in July 2009 and is a nominee for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame...

We made a lot of improvements and a lot of changes. It's coming together really well. We're getting more intense. Our practices are better because we really want to make it to playoffs.

Some of these guys had never skied before, and all of a sudden they've got the wind in their hair and they're taking some falls and getting back up and really enjoying themselves in the outdoors with their families to support them.

I first did stand-up when I was 17, and then I passed out fliers for a comedy club (in New York City) and I got onstage whenever I could. And musical theater went out the window as soon as I started doing stand-up.

I was disappointed in my tee shot because it was into the wind and when I started the first hole, the wind was blowing really hard and I tried to hit it hard. I think I was rushing my play. After the third, I tried to slow down and find my rhythm.

It was a great coincidence, and many of the people I met that day became great friends. The best disabled skiers in the world that gave me something to aspire to. I was honored to ski next to them.

I had a ski coach and he always said: you know, if you're going to go for it, go all the way...but you can't come up short on these things, it's gonna hurt.

I'll never fully accept my disability. I live with a disability; that's all you can do. There are people who will be around you to help you, but you have to help yourself. We all have to overcome adversity.

The state is not intending on selling it, or developing it or giving it away. Not even when the lease is up.

I do love the idea of ritual. I'm a very ritualistic person. I have to wash my face twice, and on the second wash before I rinse, I brush my teeth, then I rinse, then I floss, then I put on moisturizer. I'm ritualistic. Jewishness is very ritualistic.
