My first plane trip, I sat next to him. And I got yelled at because I was a rookie and you weren't supposed to sit next to a veteran. But he made me feel like it was all right. He was one of the greatest guys, greatest teammates, I've ever been associated with.

adjustment biggest expect leagues lifestyle majors manager minor travel
The biggest adjustment is the lifestyle and the travel. It's not what we're used to or what you expect at the major-league level. Especially for a manager who was in the minor leagues for a long time. To make it to the majors and have to go back to the minors, it's probably a little emotionally upsetting.

It's 10 times better today than it was yesterday. Hopefully, I can be back on the mound by Friday.
defense great kids offense positive quarters saw sure three work younger
It's wasn't a great game, but we want to make sure we get something positive out of the experience. We got to work on some different things with our offense and got them out by halftime, our defense got three quarters and a lot of our younger kids saw some action.
football good physical
They're a very good football team. They're physical and they have good tradition. I look for them to go back to state.
