Playing in a big-game atmosphere is different. I'm sure being there before helped us, but we still had to get after it on defense.

We've been resilient all year. We play with a lot of pride. Our kids are just trying to make their mark on our program.

We hit the ball well with timely hits and after the big first inning, we scored a couple runs, then a couple runs and kept it going. Plus we had a chance to get Brandon Wyman into the game. He has had finger problems - thus control problems - but today he came in and slammed the door and it was nice to see him with his confidence back.
