beginning half hard played second tired
We were very, very fortunate. Clearly, we were tired right from the beginning of the game. It wasn't a pretty game. We just played hard in the second half and really battled for it.
behind blocks came directly free league paul tyson
Tyson had the blocks. Two of those blocks were big league blocks, the one from behind and the one directly on Paul when he came down the middle. We were able to make our free throws. It was just a gutsy win.
agent almost compared guys last literally means summer tells tyson until
Tyson didn't do much this summer, from what I've seen, compared to last summer when he was here almost 75 days. It's the old thing where your agent tells you don't do anything until you get a contract, and a lot of guys think that literally means don't do anything. It really means don't play basketball.
basically below home problems record trace
We can trace our problems to basically one thing. Our home record is below par.
throughout trend
We don't want to get into a fouling-type game, which has been our trend throughout the year.
against basically dominated felt free game gave guess missed nice pull season second team throw win won
We should have won that second game of the season at New Jersey. We missed a free throw and gave up a three-point play basically at the buzzer. It's a game we felt like we should have won. I guess it is nice to pull out a win against a team that's dominated us.
against behind dominated game jersey nice season second team won
We should have won that second game of the season at New Jersey (a 100-99 loss). It is nice to put one behind you against a team that has kind of dominated us.
struggling team
Well, the team he went to is struggling mightily, I would say.
almost bad bit feeling three
We'll take the win, but you end up almost feeling a little bit bad about it. They outplayed us for three quarters, handily,
game next question regular season
The question we had is what if this was regular season and a back-to-back? You would know before the next game so why does it take so long?
shots
We had our chances. We just couldn't make enough shots at the end.
became flipped focus quarter reason switch third
We were sleepwalking through 2 1/2 quarters. Then in the third quarter we became more aggressive. We had no focus and then for some reason the switch was flipped and we got back in it.
boys dad following league spending time typical
Typical dad stuff, ... Spending time with my two boys, going to their little league games. And following the NBA, like always.
blind five good half maybe men problem second talking
We need every win. The problem is we started the second half like five blind men. We were not executing, not talking to each other. Maybe one half is good enough for us right now. We have to get that rectified.
