I've had some great standouts the past few years, but this team is just real balanced. This is the strongest team we've had going into the (state) tournament the last three years.

We've had days where I've had kids in my office that are crying and need to share their hearts for a while. It's been tough, but I honestly think it's brought us together in a special way. We've formed a bond that not every team feels. We just know we have to be there for each other.

We've had some good individual players come through, but as a team, we can be tough to stop because we have so many girls who are capable of stepping up in a particular game.

To be honest, I didn't think we'd be 27-3 at this point in time. But we just found a way to get the job done. I'm very happy with our progress.
