advantage alex ball baseball came closed good great hit hunter played records smith took
I thought we played two good ball games. Hunter Henderson pitched a great ball game. Hunter Jeter pitched a good game. Alex Smith came in there and closed it out. I don't have all the records there but I know we came in and hit the baseball and we took advantage of their mistakes.
alex bit came four game helena pitchers strikes threw walk
All of the pitchers Lockwood, Jeter, Henderson and Alex they all came in a threw great. They all four threw strikes and they didn't walk anybody. It was a non-conference game and we've got Helena on Thursday. So, I wanted all of them to get a little bit of work.
ball came conference game good hall kids last proud runs state took undefeated warren white won
I thought that after the White Hall game and the first game especially we came back and hit the ball. We took that over to Warren where they hit the ball well. We scored 16 runs and they put the ball in play a lot. And Warren is a good ball team. They are undefeated in their conference and they won state last year. So, they've got some pretty good ball players. I was proud of our kids for that.
ball bit chapel conference games good hit hurt might mills next played prepare rusty shaping spring start week white
Jeter hit the ball pretty good that game. Watson Chapel played two games while we were on Spring Break. We were a little rusty with the bats. I think that might have hurt us a little bit. But the good thing is we didn't have any conference games this week. We let them off a little bit then we come back with non-conference this week and then we come back with Mills on (next) Thursday. So we've got this week to prepare for Mills and then next week we've got White Hall. By then, a lot of things will start shaping up.
hoping mayor youngest
I was hoping to be the youngest mayor of The Colony, but I'll have to wait.
league match season worried
We were a little worried this season that we didn't have a pool. Every league match was on the road.
early fought found good kept quit rushed team toes
For us to be such a young team and early in the season, it was good for them. They were down and found a way to come back. They never quit and they could have. But we never got down. They never rushed it. They kept on their toes and fought their way back.
backs care defense good great job kept pitch played pressure
The good thing about our defense is that we all pitch in and take care of our responsibilities. We kept the pressure on them and used our power. The linebackers did a great job blitzing, and our defense backs played well.
ball beat carry conference good hopefully next team white winning
Newport is a good ball team and they are winning the conference that we are going into next year. They are winning that conference and we beat them twice. So, hopefully this can carry over to White Hall.
ball chance confidence couple errors game gives hits together walks
We made a couple of errors and a couple of walks and we put the ball in play a little bit. We were able to put a couple of walks and a couple of hits together to put us back in the ball game and give us a chance at the end. That gives us a lot of confidence and a lot of momentum. I thought that was good.
profound
profound and I think will be very well received.

baseball carry close couple few game hit hopefully last left momentum proud runners running
I was proud of them for getting through it. We just hit the baseball last night. It was a close game for the first couple of innings. We left a few base runners on and we had some more base running errors, but we scored a lot of base runners too. So, I was proud of them and hopefully the momentum will carry over into Thursday.
