bump feeling focus good pounding relax stay trying
It was a much different feeling in a good way. I was just trying to get back on the bump and stay in a rhythm. I was able to relax and focus on pounding the zone.

I think the freshmen have done an unbelievable job becoming part of the team. They come here ready to work from day one all the way back in August. They've worked hard and earned our respect, and they've proved that they deserve to be here and play at this level.

I've been a little overdue. I felt like I've been pressing a little at the plate the last couple of weeks.

It was a fastball on the inside part of the plate. I was looking for something in be-cause that's where they had thrown a lot to me this weekend. I just stayed within myself and let my hands do the work.
