Like I said, in a later round, it's definitely easier, ... I've never played her this early, so it's a little tough.
Hopefully, next time we meet will be in the finals. It's very weird and awkward and bizarre to meet so early. I don't think I played my best, and I don't think Venus did, either.
I think it's great, I'm actually rooting for her - unless of course she plays me.
She played well, she was ready for the match and she's deserved to win,
She's playing unbelievable, so I'm going to have to pick it up. Venus has been working hard for quite some time to turn this thing up. She's always in the gym, running miles, always practicing. . . . It was just a matter of timing.
I'm definitely picking it up each round, ... I'm definitely playing better than I was even a week ago and two weeks ago. I'm getting better and better.
I used to do gymnastics, so sometimes when I would go to the pool, I would go to the diving board, ... But I was always too scared to jump off.
I've almost lost several times but come through that. Being able to play your way through the tournament is really able to help.
I love tennis. Quite frankly, I'm tired of people saying I put tennis third and last in my life. If I did, I wouldn't be here playing. I wouldn't be here practicing. I could be at the beach. I could be retired. I could be drinking lemonade with my legs crossed in the sun on the beach. I'm not doing that. I'm not in Saint-Tropez.

We do more ready-to-wear and ath-leisure, things you would wear everyday. I never close my mind to anything and eventually want to branch out. But for now, tennis is still number one for me.
I'm here to play female tennis. I've never been involved in men's tennis. . . . I wouldn't be tempted.
You can't underestimate anyone.
The red kind of symbolizes a lot of things I do in Africa, along with a lot of the work, like the red laces. Everybody that buys a pair can pretty much save a life in Africa.
