It's a little strenuous. You're standing, kneeling and reaching in, looking underneath, making sure you got everything. Your hands get a little tired from clipping. Sometimes the stem is pretty tough.

Clip as close to the grapes as you can to avoid getting leaves and stem. Get rid of the unhealthy grapes. I was surprised to see how many grapes had dried up - not like a raisin, but hollow. Leave any grapes that have fallen to the ground - they're past ripe.

We sang songs and chatted to make the time go by. Lots of people wore headphones. Some couples brought their dogs. It was fun.
