crossed mind
The thought never crossed our mind that we were going to lose.
worked
There's a lot of things that need to be worked on before we get to where we need to be.
angry committee happens tennessee wait
You don't want to get Tennessee angry and the (NCAA selection) committee did that. We'll just wait and see what happens in the tournament.
athletic ball bringing care coming difficult eyes good job open players quick teammate
They did a very good job of bringing pressure. When you have quick guards, posts and long athletic perimeter players coming at you in waves, it is difficult to get your eyes up and see if you have a teammate open and take care of the ball at the same time. It was frustrating.
beyond great thrown true
Beyond being a great player, what impresses me most about Candace is how she handles everything, the distractions, everything thrown at her. She handles it all like a true professional and with so much class.
capable drove move running scoop stuff
She made an inside-out move from the 3-point line, drove in and made a little scoop shot. Running back down the court, I was laughing. I thought to myself, 'Wow, that was pretty athletic.' She's capable of doing that kind of stuff when she's on the floor, and that is exciting.
credit goal mine
It's just something that happened. It wasn't a goal of mine when I set out to come here. I give all the credit to my teammates.
carried half helping knock looks open second today
I told Sid she was going to give me a triple-double today helping with my assists. She had a lot of open looks and was able to knock them down. That carried on into the second half as well.
ends experience ncaa senior throughout tournament worth
We could have the most difficult, roughest experience throughout my senior year. But if it all ends the way we want it to end ? in the very end with the NCAA Tournament ? it's all worth it.
feeling feels games lost playing potential sick three tired
We've lost three games this season, but it feels like we've lost 15. I'm sick and tired of losing, sick and tired of feeling this way, sick and tired of not playing up to our potential and my potential.
rattle speed
We were pressing in the first half. We never got into our offense. We let them speed us up, rattle us, and when we did get in our offense, we were still sped up.
bothers carry defense knew minutes top until
What bothers me most is that we knew our defense would carry us. One game, we'll play 40 minutes of defense, and 20 minutes in another, and in another. It's not a top priority. Until it's a top priority, who knows?
offense
We weren't able to get in our offense a lot of the time.
duke extremely flat hurt tried
We tried not to come out flat because we were extremely hurt after the Duke game.
