advantage benefits deep district excited home host pool swimming teams tremendous
We've very excited to host our district meet. Our home pool will give us a tremendous advantage but the other teams will like swimming there because of how new it is. It's well-lit and deep and has a lot of other benefits of a newer pool.
control events people qualify surprising
We were disappointed we didn't place higher, but you can't control how other people swim. It's surprising when you qualify in 10 of the 11 events and not to place higher.
forward great looking score state
We're looking forward to . . . a great state meet. It's not enough to get there, we want to score some points.
building camps coaches continue draw looking program specialty swim teach youth
We're looking to continue building our youth program and to have swim camps that draw different coaches to teach specialty strokes.
districts drop feels job lifetime nice sick
He got sick right before districts (Feb. 11), and he did a nice job of being able to drop in the 500. His IM was not his lifetime best, which was disappointing to him because he feels he's an all-around swimmer.
